Motion Industries, the top industrial distributor in North America, is looking for a strong leader and communicator with industrial sales experience for a Branch Manager position working at a Motion location in Mexico. The qualified candidate should be fluent in Spanish and willing to live in Mexico. Our Branch Managers oversee the success of the Branch by maximizing profitability, generating sales, individually and through the leadership of others.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all financial results, sales, expenses, and asset control

  • Understand key performance indicators (KPI)

  • Ensure compliance with Company Performance Standards; recognize the appropriate investment for long-term growth

  • Establish the pricing strategy for the branch

  • Prepare the annual budget; conduct monthly reviews in order to guarantee that the branch meets the established profitability goals

  • Analyze expenses and determine how to reduce costs

  • Manage inventory for branch, including the day-to-day maintenance of inventory levels through replenishing stock to meet annual turn goals

  • Directly supervise the Branch Operations Manager and Account Representatives,

  • Overall responsibility for ensuring a high level of customer service, including onsite technical assistance, resolution of problems surrounding delivery of products, and troubleshooting for customer

  • Lead the long- and short-term planning necessary to implement branch-specific programs that meet the needs of customers

Qualifications

  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking)

  • Knowledge of Motion Industries company operating system (eCOS)

  • Willing to live in Mexico

  • Experience with inventory management

  • Leadership, communication, relationship, and people management skills required

  • Analytical and mathematic skills required

  • Financial acumen preferred

  • Industry experience and sales experience required

  • Reliable, organized, and attentive to detail

  • Moderate computer skills, including communicating internally and externally via email, performing some financial calculations, and generating reports

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but work experience will be considered

  • Ability to obtain required Mexican Visa and registrations

  • Ability to obtain required Mexican Driver's License

  • Good driving record required

  • High School education or equivalent
