Job Summary:

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Senior Area Leader for Georgia, will work at both a strategic and tactical level with end-to-end ownership of the P&L in their region. This role will collaborate with internal and external partners in support of delivering high quality service in a compliant environment with a focus on growth in their designated geographic area. The role will also work across the matrix functions of the Field Support Center (corporate) to ensure a reliable and consistent operating environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Support company and geographic growth targets:

  • Works with Senior Leadership to identify possible areas of organic and inorganic growth.

  • Responsible for area and branch budget and forecast that makes up the market's contribution to overall company financials.

  • Develops and manages relationships within the designed area for referral sources, geographic industry leaders, and various industry consortium groups and works with the Area Leaders to execute specific actions to support growth objectives.

  • Understands competitive situation for the geographic region and identifies opportunities for growth.

  • Ensure best in class recruitment and retention of caregivers in geographic region.

  • Works collaboratively with other departments (compliance, legal, HR, finance, marketing) as needed in support of effective field operations to achieve growth targets.

  • Ensure compliance with Local, State, Federal and Company regulations, policies and procedures:

  • Monitors state and contractual requirements and ensures compliance.

  • Takes specific actions jointly with Compliance and Quality Lead to continuously improve and while building a culture that supports quality and compliance in everyday actions.

  • Ensure audits and post-incident management of risk & financial exposure is maintained to the standards of the organization.

  • Maintain operational excellence:

  • Ownership of area KPIs including the development and delivery of internal reporting packages, including reporting to senior management.

  • Support of short-term and long-term business planning efforts including metrics, measurements, key performance indicators and reports.

  • Responsible for escalation of business issues, whether operational or financial (revenue, collections, etc.).

  • Maintains appropriate expense management for geographic region in support of company objectives

  • Sets and executes strategy:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership in the development of geographic strategy.

  • Work to convert strategy into operational plans and implements those plans.

  • General Management:

  • Develops and mentors Area Leaders and local teams, including direct responsibility for employee improvement and development of key positions (Area Leaders, Branch Manager, and other field admin staff).

  • Champion for change and improvement initiatives within geography

  • Provides constructive input, innovative ideas, and other solutions to improve business results

  • Maintains outstanding operational performance, understands metrics with an eye on customer service.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Experience in homecare, healthcare, or healthcare services

  • Strong financial acumen with experience in managing budgets.

  • Eight (8) or more years of leadership experience with responsibility of multiple locations.

  • Experience supporting senior management including thought leadership and support.

  • Process improvement experience supporting the development, review, and revision of processes and policies as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Role must be within the market they are supporting but can be remote within that geography. (Preferably Atlanta, GA)

  • Ability to travel within geographic area as needed (up to 50%)
