ROLE SUMMARY
The Branch Manager will assign and direct all work performed in the Branch and will supervise all areas of operations. This leader will manage staff, foster a positive environment, and ensure client satisfaction and proper branch operation. While they will have a hands-on approach, this incumbent will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for generating revenue and fee income through promoting deposit and lending products of the bank to all clients including high net worth, commercial, and consumer clients.
Consistently provide excellent client service to external and internal clients.
Supervise the branch platform and teller line operations to ensure service quality, accuracy, efficiency, and risk management.
Ensure branch compliance with all policies, procedures and applies applicable regulations, particularly as they pertain to audit, security, compliance, and internal controls.
Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations and applicable laws.
Ensures that monthly branch audits are completed accurately and submitted timely.
Proficient with setting up complex accounts, related services, and account maintenance.
Ensure prompt response and follow up to client account inquiries and escalated client servicing issues.
Ensure that all appropriate new account documentation is collected and in compliance with our new account policies and procedures.
Responsible for branch vault and cash supply, when applicable.
Ensure branch is open on time and ready to conduct business each business day.
Exercises good judgement when handling exceptions to policy.
Delegate various operations duties to branch staff while maintaining overall administrative responsibility.
Responsible for organizing branch work schedules to maintain adequate coverage during business hours.
Lead branch sales activities such as cross-selling of products and services and outbound calling activities to generate new deposits.
Conduct outbound sales calls independently and in partnership with other internal partners to existing customers and prospects.
Lead Branch team meetings to discuss operational, security, sales, service, product mastery and other topics as necessary.
Participate and provide input/feedback during Branch Manager meetings, team conference calls and one/one meetings.
Produce qualified referrals to other banking units.
Plans and develops business development programs/initiatives representing the bank in community activities.
Provides leadership, coaching and support to direct reports to include quarterly coaching meetings, performance feedback, and completing performance appraisals as scheduled.
Develops forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans.
Shares knowledge with other branch team members on effective practices, market intelligence, and business opportunities to sustain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Network to improve organizational presence and reputation in the community.

Strong sales and service skills
Exhibits professionalism with internal and external customers. Ability to speak with internal customers at all levels.
Knowledge of banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
Proficient use of Platform and Teller systems.
Excellent customer service delivery to internal and external clients.
Pro-active product sales, outbound calling and internal/external business development.
Proficient in MS Office
