The Branch Manager has Profit and Loss responsibility for a retail store and warehouse serving HVAC professionals; leads a small team to exceed customer needs; and also may call on key customer accounts. The Branch Manager is ultimately responsible for growing revenue and margain in his/her location while containing costs to increase profit.
Manage daily store and warehouse operations, including achieving sales and profitability goals.
Implement and maintain the highest level of customer service in the industry.
Work directly with local sales teams to develop strategies for increased traffic in the store,
. Provide useful feedback from dealers regarding customer service efforts.
Recruit, hire, train, and discipline their team within the framework of company policy.
Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure all company assets are protected from theft or damage.
Communicate effectively with their team, customers, vendors and regional leadership.
Have a high degree of personal accountability.
Ensure essential retail tasks include merchandizing, store and warehouse organization, inventory accuracy and financial processes are followed.
Ensure full compliance with all SOX key controls.
Successful candidates for this position must possess:
Five years or more of HVAC experience.
The demonstrated ability to rapidly grow sales in a retail environment.
Successful experience as a manager of small teams.
Prior leadership roles with profit and loss responsibility.
Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, to include past experience with sales and/or inventory management software.
A Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
