Summary: Oversees the operation of a branch office with totaldeposits of varying amounts. This can be a full- or limited-facility office.Exercises executive and administrative control over the functions of theoffice. Administers the operation of the branch with primary emphasis onbusiness development, deposit growth and customer service activities.
Assess local market conditions, identify current andprospective sales opportunities and develop forecasts, financial objectives,and business plans for the branch.
Direct sales promotions and service activities within thebranch.
Coordinate the sales and installation of related depositproducts to corporate deposit customers- cash management, remote capture, andpayroll.
Understand, implement, monitor, and ensure adherence toboth 1st Constitution Bank policies and procedures and allregulatory policies.
Resolve escalated sales and service issues by exercisingsound judgement in applying 1st Constitution Bank policies andprocedures. Customer satisfaction andthe development and maintenance of broad based, long term, profitable customerrelationships is the objective of all problem solving activities.
Participate purposefully in the community in order tomaximize 1st Constitution Bank business opportunities. Encourage all employees to supportactivities/projects to benefit the communities in which the branch office islocated.
Communicate effectively with other branches and seniormanagers by sharing information on effective practices, competitiveintelligence, business opportunities and needs.
Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and othertechnologies as required.
Provide training, coaching, development, and motivation tobring out the best in each of your team members. Provide employees the opportunity to realizeand achieve full career potential. Discuss job responsibilities, career paths, training availability, andgoal setting. Provide performancefeedback and recognition.
Manage the branch honestly, follow high ethical standards,and comply with all government regulations.
College degree, preferably in business, or equivalentrelated work experience.
5-7 years management experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of retail banking and regulationsgoverning commercial banking activities.
Demonstrated sales management, marketing, analytical,written and verbal communication skills to effectively lead the line ofbusiness.
