Responsibilities
1.Places telephone calls to handle all aspects of commercial customer accounts.
2.Maintains customer database through accurate and timely data entry.
3.Answers inquiries, resolves problems, promotes and sells products/services.
4.Provides first line administrative support and coordination of commercial account activities for Business Development Reps.
5.Creates and reviews commercial service agreements.
6.Follow up on commercial customers during renewal.
7.Facilitates commercial growth through outbound calls to customers and prospects.
8.Contact customers regarding outstanding balances on commercial accounts.
9.Develops, maintains and cultivates effective customer relationships with assigned commercial accounts.
10. Handles day to day account activities for commercial customers.
11. Reviews commercial accounts, up-sell existing commercial customers and solicits new customers.
12. Acts as a liaison between the branch and the customer in order to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
13. Contacts customers regarding outstanding commercial account balances to achieve branch and company receivable objectives.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required. Associate's degree preferred.

  • 2-3 years of customer service experience required

  • Experience resolving escalated customer service issues required

  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for providing strategic risk management, particularly in the placement of these accounts in captive programs, while generating new business prospects, networking and relationship building throughout the community. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Conducting new business calls, gathering information to prepare submissions to send to marketing department and implementation of new business goals and strategies for new and existing accounts. * Work with Commercial Lines Leader and Account Managers to ensure completion of all renewals. * Manage renewal process in obtaining, directly or indirectly, quotes and claims experience from various carriers. * Review both draft and final form of all marketing proposals for accuracy prior to presenting to client. * Handle a diverse range of insurance products in the Commercial Lines arena. * Technical knowledge and expertise of commercial products, including captive programs. * Keep abreast of developments in the marketplace, including product line offerings and changes in consumer trends. * Participate in civic social and trade organizations which will assist in enhancing our presence in the Rochester market. * Participate in client sponsored events. * Continuously drive client servicing strategy working with our client servicing team and senior staff. * Maintain and build relationships with key carrier personnel. Required Skills * Bachelors Degree. * NYS Property & Casualty License. * 5+ years of diverse commercial insurance experience, particularly experience in the captive marketplace. * Current professional designation, or actively pursing (CIC, CPCU) Salary Range Negotiable, depending on professional experience.
