Join Marmic as our Branch Administrator in Wilmington! In this role, you will use your demonstrated experience as a detail oriented self-starter to support our professional team of technicians who protects our clients from fire hazards by managing a variety of administrative duties such as new customer set up, quotes, pricing, and processing sales orders.
Specifically, you will:
Post all payments and payment types excluding cash and checks, receipts, discounts, allowances, price difference, returns and other charge backs to customer accounts timely and accurately. The expectation is that postings occur the same day or next day.
Maintain a thorough, well-organized customer files by scanning documents into the database and sorting and filing by customer.
Research and negotiate chargeback claims (an aggressive approach is needed to obtain chargeback recoveries).
Track and investigate deductions (chargebacks) from customer payments by verifying with department managers to make sure we are being charged correctly for the chargeback up to and including disputing and negotiating any instances of discrepancies with the chargeback.
Process, transmit and run credit card transactions for customer sales and refunds.
Investigate and respond back on a timely basis to merchant services disputes regarding chargebacks for sales with supporting documents such as proof of delivery and copies of invoices to ensure there are no inaccurate deductions taken out from merchants.
Perform general accounting duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Possess high school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of similar administrative experience
Pass pre-employment background and substance abuse screening upon hire and throughout employment.
Demonstrated track record of interacting with employees, customers and vendors in a professional manner, especially during high-stress situations
Must have a strong work ethic to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment ,with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, Google Docs 10-key by touch
Possess strong organizational and time management skills
Strong problem solving skills
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English
Experience deciphering POD's and invoices
Perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division accurately
