The Boys & Girls Club is a youth development organization that provides out of school programming for all kids ages 6-18. Learn more at bgcbloomington.org.

We are located in Bloomington, Indiana, home of Indiana University. Bloomington is a college town with great food, night life, art, culture, and college sports. Bloomington has two lakes and a national forest for outdoor enthusiasts.

Bloomington is a Gold Level Bicycle Friendly Community. The B-Line trail is a pedestrian and bike path that runs through the city. Bloomington has a walkable downtown and campus core.

Check out VisitBloomington.com to learn more! VISTAs thrive here who work collaboratively and have a team spirit. They jump in when things are needed and say "yes!" with a positive attitude.

Be flexible and comfortable with last minute requests and changing tasks. Take initiative to work with excellence. We work HARD and get a lot done.

It is high energy and fast paced, but it is VERY rewarding. Be eager to learn, willing to jump in and try things, and take constructive feedback. This is the most exciting time in our history.

We have just completed a Capital Campaign. Our capacity and program grew by 200%. However, we need to ensure we have funding to support and sustain it. The VISTA will help with fundraising, donor relations, cultivation, stewardship, moves management, major gifts, planned giving, marketing, branding, media, and more!

The VISTA is an integral part of the team and will have an opportunity to learn in all areas. There will be daily work with the Resource Development Director (RDD), Executive Director (ED) and Board. The ED and RDD will take great care in fostering your success, not just for our organization, but in your life.

We are close knit office, you will be part of the family. The project will start June 10 and is a 12-month project. Contact Leslie Abshier for more details, 812-332-5311 ext: 213, labshier@bgcbloomington.org.
