Job Summary:Performs all duties in the Box Room. Must be capable of operating two box machines, assist in change-overs in box sizes, adjust machines as needed and keep machines and work areas clean. Must be able to maneuver full pallets in and out of the pallet racks to designated areas with a forklift.
Major Job Responsibilities & Duties:
Operate both box machines to avoid down time.
Make necessary change-overs and proper adjustments.
Watch for any boxes with bad print or other issues.
Stack boxes on pallets, secure and tag (size of box).
Operate a manual pallet jack and forklift to rack full pallets.
Assist in clean-up at the end of each working day.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Must meet the company's expectations for attendance and punctuality.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Must be at least 18 years old.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to operate a manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack and a forklift.
Must be certified to operate electric pallet jack and forklift.
Ability to maintain mental awareness while performing duties of a repetitive
of performing the job.
