Box Truck Driver

Join our team as a Box Truck Driver. We are looking for candidates with excellent driving records who can operate non-commercial vehicles.

HOURS: Full-time, Monday-Friday, Day shift

WAGE: Depends on Experience

ROLE: Transport materials to our various customers in a safe and timely manner while maintaining the highest level of quality, service, and support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain work records, logs, and time sheets.

• Perform pre & post-trip inspections.

• Convey loads to their destination in a safe and timely manner.

• Inspect material securing equipment such as cables, chains, binders, and straps and inform supervisor of any defects in need of attention.

• Secure all materials properly to ensure safe transport and compliance with DOT regulation.

• Assist with loading and unloading of materials and coordinate activities of workers helping to load and unload.

• Wear company-issued Personal Protective Equipment while on all job sites.

• Operate in a team atmosphere and assist supervisors and co-workers in performing duties.

CORE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess a valid Medical Card.

• Clean driving, with a current certified driving record/abstract.

• Good knowledge of roads on the required route.

• Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

• Able to regularly lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift items up to 70 pounds

• Able to participate in team lifts for objects between 70 and 150 pounds

• Able to maneuver items weighing up to 150 pounds

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test, including marijuana
