This position is located at Houston Bowling Center.

The position being offered is a flexible position. A flexible position employee serves in a continuing position on a scheduled or an as-needed basis with no guarantee of hours.

  • Makes minor corrective adjustments to bowling alley machinery and performs periodic preventive maintenance on automatic handling equipment.

  • Cleans and conditions howling lanes and return racks; maintains proper stock levels of spare parts and pins for automatic pin setter and mechanical equipment.

  • Assists with general maintenance and cleaning of bowling facilities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Travel Required

Occasional travel - Less than 5% for potential training.

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift light and medium weight items.

  • Be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.


Qualified applicant must:
1.Be able to understand and follow written instructions.
2.Have ability to handle tools and equipment used.
3.Be physically able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
4.Be able to actively bend, stoop, reach and work in awkward positions.

  • Highly Qualified Criteria*

Applicants meeting the highly qualified criteria will be referred to the hiring manager first.

A highly qualified applicant will:
1.Have experience using trade tools including a lane machine and buffer.
2.Basic computer skills.
3.Experience sweeping and mopping.

The Trail Maintenance worker shall: * Remove fallen and leaning dead trees * Remove encroaching limbs and brush * Perform minor repair of tread * Perform minor repair of tread drainage and tread drainage structures * Perform trail location marking * Remove downed limbs, loose rock, debris from trail ways Required Skills * Independent worker, able to take initiative and work from plan sets * Ability to lift and move heavy objects, sometimes over 50lbs, such as debris, rock, and tree limbs, etc. * Ability to operate a motor vehicle * Ability to operate light equipment * Knowledge of trail construction and maintenance * Experience working with the military or DoD.
