The Bowl Desk Attendant is tasked with keeping their area clean, keeping their guests smiling and making sure everything is running smoothly. Your job will be to help customers have a great time by helping them find the best solution for what they're looking for, running all transactions and assisting with lane set up, ball selection and bowling instructions.

We're working behind the scenes and on the front lines – making each guest experience, moment and memory the best it can be. Position Summary Under direction of Premium Suites Manager and/or Suites Supervisor, ensures effective operation of assigned luxury suites, including stocking, serving and attending to guests' needs, in accordance with Company's GuestPath Universal Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards. Essential Functions: * Reports to work at scheduled time in full uniform. * Sets up and checks on assigned suites prior to event, to ensure proper items are in place, in accordance with company procedures. * Verifies and sets-up all pre-event food and/or beverage orders. * Maintains high standards of friendly customer service by greeting all guests and being genuinely interested in their needs. * Takes and places event-day food and beverage orders and relays order to kitchen staff/bartender as appropriate. * Requests identification from guests who appear to be under 40 years of age. * Replenishes food, beverages, condiments and utensils as needed. * Anticipates guests needs. Suggests additional items such as appetizers and desserts. * Maintains standard of orderliness and cleanliness of suite throughout the event. * Obtains signatures from the host on charges. * Serves guests until the end of the event. Non-essential Functions: * Clears all items from the suite and cleans all surfaces and chafing dishes in suite. * Re-sets and re-stocks suite for next function. * Completes closing functions and checks out with suite supervisor. * Performs other duties as assigned. Education & Experience: * Minimum of 1 year of service experience in a hotel, full service restaurant, catering facility or club environment required; previous experience as suite runner preferred. * Must obtain a TABC (Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission)Certification with in 60 days of hire. * Must attend the DNC Alcohol Refresher Course. * Must obtain Food Handling certification every two (2) years. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Company's GuestPath Universal Service Standards. * Organizational skills; detail-oriented. * Ability to work accurately, efficiently, and courteously in a high pressure environment. * Good communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with guests, and retain and communicate menu information and service preferences. * Ability to follow job procedures and supervisor instructions. * Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory. Physical Requirements: * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for set-up, service and clean up of suite. * Ability to stand and walk for entire length of shift, including walking up and down stairs and lifting as the work duties demand.
