Job Summary:# The Bought Media Specialist plays a key role in developing and implementing bought media plans for all LVHN branding and demand generation initiatives.# The BMS works closely with internal stakeholders and agency partners to make insightful, effective and efficient media recommendations that deliver against LVHN business and marketing strategies.# The Bought Media Specialist is involved throughout all phases of the planning cycle including briefing, implementation, tracking, optimization and post-campaign analysis.
Lead in the development of bought media recommendations for awareness and demand generation initiatives (in partnership with marketing managers, media agencies and digital engagement specialist).# Management of channels includes print, digital display, OOH, TV, Radio, select sponsorships, and emerging media technologies.# Close involvement in planning and optimization of paid search and paid social channels.# Maintain a deep understanding of business/campaign specific needs, including consumer insights and market share, translating information into bought media strategies that effectively reach the target audience. Work with agency to prepare and present strategic media recommendations including media strategy, rationale, and all backup materials (when necessary). Responsible for managing bought media budget for each campaign assigned, ensuring all activities are on budget as assigned/approved.
Work with outside media buying agencies as well as directly with media vendors to negotiate better than market rates, positioning, and locations.# Assist in the negotiation of long-term media contracts. Work closely with media agencies and LVHN marketing billing contact to reconcile invoicing and ensure payments are made in a timely manner. Keep abreast of current events, media trends and any target market industry trends that impact business.
Check for and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of all bought media outputs. Analyze and present competitive spending and competitive use of media vehicles. Work closely with marketing operations manager and Digital engagement specialist to ensure all offline and online bought media activities (branding, demand generation) are integrated and satisfy overall bought media strategies.
Collaborate with creative team/agency partners and marketing managers to bring effective, engaging media tactics to life. Work with the agency to compile vendor specs for all campaign activity. Partner with marketing managers and digital engagement specialist on the creative flighting for all media activity (online and offline) to ensure consistency in imagery and messages across all channels.
Oversees the communication of media plans and buys to internal cross-functional teams, as well as external partners to ensure accurate and timely traffic/delivery of materials for all vehicles. Work closely with marketing stakeholders#on the implementation of bought media initiatives including trafficking, creative allocation, and reporting. Demonstrate a desire to create improvement and better outcomes through innovation / approaching things in new ways.
Communicate clearly and succinctly when working with senior leadership, coworkers, and others in the network. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with external and internal stakeholders that result in strong communication and alignment. Handle issue resolution, recommend process improvements internally and with agency partners.Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor#s degree in marketing/business related field Liaise with creative assets provider (traffic manager / creative agency) to ensure accurate and timely traffic/delivery of campaign materials for all vehicles. Two years# experience working in media/advertising/marketing field Skills using project management databases and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Excellent attention to detail and follow through across all projects Excellent writing, analytical, and project coordination skills Ability to prioritize and manage time while juggling multiple projects under tight deadlines Strong interpersonal skills including collaboration Skills using project management databases and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor#s degree in media/advertising/marketing or a related field Three plus years# experience working in media/advertising/marketing field Passion for bought media industry and its continuous changes Familiarity with performance-based media a plus (paid search, paid social, display) Proficient in web-based analytical tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Kantar, com
