Position Title:BOP-Tools Tech

External Description:

We are currently seeking a BOP Technician.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Servicing all blow out preventers, pack offs, reel swivels, lubricators, iron and downhole tools (BPVs, etc.)

  • Performing and documenting all pressure tests for these components after service

  • Obtaining and maintaining an inventory of expendable materials and parts for these items

  • Organizing and maintaining the facility including the testing station and store room

  • Aiding management in developing a preventive maintenance system for these components

  • Assisting field personnel with job related problems associated with these components

  • Coordinating with the iron personnel at the District and the corporate level to track and document iron testing and inspection

  • Performing other duties as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent

  • At least three (3) years experience working with Coiled Tubing and/or work that would include servicing BOPs and/or downhole tools

  • Experience in managing expendable materials inventory

  • Valid Class C drivers license and clean driving record

  • Good communication and organizational skill

VIEW JOBS 3/17/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-15T00:00 The Radiology Technologist is responsible for quality performance of radiologic procedures to obtain data used in diagnosis and treatment of the patient in a timely, courteous, and cost-effective manner Duties & Responsibilities: * The employee shall comply with all safety and health standards, and all rules, regulations, and orders which are applicable to the individual's own position, actions, and conduct. * Assesses patient status. * Obtains patient information. * Applies radiation control measures. * Provides patient education pre- and post-exams. * Responds to patient alarms. * Performs environmental safety checks. * Recognizes and demonstrates isolation techniques. * Completes documentation. * Follows sterile procedures. * Assists with file room tasks. * Serves as physician liaison. * Mentors and precepts students. * Assists with catheter placement of patients. * Assists with biopsies. * Assists with tube placement and maintenance. * Performs various exams in departments, in Operating Room, in Emergency Department, and on nursing floors. * Assists physicians and other staff with exams in x-ray. * Responds to trauma pager. * Ensures quality of own films. * Performs film placement on alternator and removal from alternator. * Performs order and data entry into the computer. * Assists with insertion and removal of enema tips. * Starts IV for injection of contrast. * Performs patient manipulation. * Performs room set up and tear down. * Performs injection of contrast/saline/heparin per dosage. * Develops exposed film and hangs for Radiologists. * Operates all equipment in room. * Monitors patients. * Provides patient and family education. * Performs digital film manipulation. * Retrieves all supplies as requested. * Performs dressing changes. * Prepares films for interpretation. * Performs all aspects of Radiography. * Notifies appropriate personnel of exam delays. * Notifies physicians and nursing floors of cancellations due to equipment failure and estimated down times. * Notifies imaging engineering of equipment failures according to policy. * Notifies charge technologist of absence from work station. * Assists with patient transfers. * Keeps area clean and stocked. * Performs exams as requested for county coroner. * Performs other duties as assigned Wyoming Medical Center Casper WY
