Working Days: Monday through Friday (Saturday may be added as work level dictates)
Working Hours: 8:30AM to 5:30PM (Hours extended when work load is increased)
Full or Part Time: Preferred Full Time. Minimum 30 hours a week if part time.
Receive, organize, and input banking and credit card information into client accounting files
Ability to enter adjusting journal entries and understand financial results
Ability to read and understand various banking statements, credit card payment processing documents, loan statements, payroll statements and other financial reporting documents
Ability to properly code transactions in accounting software while understanding potential tax implications of each
Classify and reconcile monthly or quarterly financial activity with third party documents (i.e. bank statements and credit card bills)
Create amortization tables in Excel and/or T-Value software for loans or other accruals and record monthly adjusting entries into accounting software
Communicate and follow up with clients regarding transactions
Communicate and follow up with Renaissance supervisors or tax preparers
Ability to file Florida State sales tax reports using the online filing system
Ability to input payroll information into ADP payroll website for various clients.
Ability to compile PDF documents of financial statements and supporting documents into client deliverables in a timely manner
Analyze and provide financial summaries of client information
Monitor and assist clients with accounting entries and coding
Perform other duties as assigned
Good knowledge of modern accounting theory, principles and practices; knowledge of accounting terminology; knowledge of financial record keeping and reporting and budget preparation.
Ability to analyze financial transactions and make original or adjusting entries; ability to read and comprehend financial transactions; ability to trace transactions through financial records.
Good skills in the applications of the general principles and practices of modern accounting and auditing; good skills in reviewing and analyzing accounting transactions.

Education and/or Experience:
Associates of Arts Degree in Business Administration or Accounting (Bachelors Degree in Accounting preferred)
At least 4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience in a QuickBooks environment
