We are looking for a Bookkeeper that is highly skilled in accounting and enjoys working in an collaborative environment. If this sounds like you, you may be the candidate we are searching for. If you have experience with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting, then this may be the right Bookkeeper role for you. Your responsibilities

  • Balance accounts by reconciling entries

  • Review payments received and record deposits

  • Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

  • Conduct and manage the general ledger

  • Uphold quality historical records by filing documents

  • Organize a structured method to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures

  • Care for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions


  • Prior experience working with collections/accounting software

  • 2+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper

  • Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics experience highly preferred

  • Adeptness in ADP Payroll Systems

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Navision

  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV

  • Accounts receivable experience

  • Experience with demand deposits

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel

  • Hands-on experience with account reconciliation

  • Earlier work involving sales and use tax

  • Account reconciliation experience preferred

  • General familiarity with Navision

  • Axapta

  • Prior experience with bank reconciliations

  • Comprehension of Lock Box

  • Previous experience working with credit collections

  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounts payable

  • Accounts receivable aging experience

  • Journal entries experience desired

  • Expense reports experience highly valued

  • Foundational knowledge in payroll

  • Good understanding of commercial collections

  • Background working with NetSuite

  • BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
