We are seeking a Bookkeeper with great interpersonal skills and a background in accounting to join our team. Based in the Escalon, California region, the company offering this short term temporary position provides an excellent work environment where effort is rewarded. Accountemps is on the lookout for an organized, efficient Bookkeeper to join the efforts of a growing firm in the High Tech

  • Electronics industry. Be sure to learn more about this role! If you have experience with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting, then this may be the right Bookkeeper role for you. Your responsibilities in this role

  • Manage a well-organized system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures

  • Reconcile accounts by rectifying entries

  • Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

  • Examine payments received and record deposits

  • Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

  • Maintain quality historical records by filing documents

  • Conduct and manage the general ledger


  • 2+ years of experience in Bookkeeping

  • Prior experience using MS Excel

  • Strong familiarity with accounts receivable

  • Experience with payroll

  • QuickBooks experience

  • Accounts payable experience

  • Payroll experience
