Job Title: Boiler Operator

Seeking a motivated Boiler Operator to join our team. The Boiler Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment associated with generating steam, refrigeration, compressed air, wastewater and chilled glycol cooling systems. This position monitors and maintains auxiliary equipment in the boiler house, refrigeration building, pump house, and fire diesel house.

  • Starting hourly pay of $34.91/HR based on knowledge and demonstrated skill.

What You'll Accomplish:

  • Operate automatically controlled, gas-fired, and high-pressure boilers.

  • Operates ammonia refrigeration equipment including chillers, cooling towers, heat exchangers and pumps.

  • Operate auxiliary equipment.

  • Maintain required steam pressure and proper water level.

  • Responsible for routine maintenance of pumps, valves, lines, and equipment

  • Monitors fire annunciation panel and computer monitor readouts.

  • Maintain housekeeping and sanitation of work area and equipment.

  • Use of Nestlé computer systems for accurate tracking of product as required.

  • Train others on job tasks of this role

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED),

  • Class II boiler license Preferred.

  • 2 to 5 years of related experience Required: or a combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to become RETA certified by the required timelines.

  • Proficiency in one or more of the following: high pressure boilers, refrigeration principals and equipment, air compressors, air dryers, soft water systems, cooling towers, pumps, valves, and auxiliary boiler house.

  • Follow all Nestlé-Burlington Safety & Environmental rules, regulations, and policies, fully participate in all Safety & Environmental programs, and report incidents & unsafe conditions immediately.

QUALITY
