To perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, assembly, fabrication and installation for a variety of equipment and facility components. Repairs, replaces/performs preventative maintenance or assemble building mechanical systems, subsystems or components. Reviews scheduled activities with Supervisor, as required, to assure responses to service requests are in order of need priority.
Maintains, operates and monitors refrigeration, cooling, air conditioning and heating systems and equipment.
Operates and maintains stationary high and low pressure natural gas and oil fired boilers supplying heat and power. Fabricates, installs, repairs and maintains buildings, equipment and grounds of the hospital and other duties as assigned.
Responsible for the operation of the powerhouse and related mechanical equipment, coordinates snow and ice clean-up operations including the calling-in of manpower as needed and other job duties as assigned.

Stationary Engineering Courses
MINIMUM & PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Prefer at least two (2) years prior experience as a Boiler Operator
REQUIRED LICENSE, REGISTRATION OR CERTIFICATION
Current Michigan driver's license and clean driving record.
Current and valid State of Michigan Boiler License or State of Michgian licensure must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
