Job Description: Body Technician We are seeking a skilled and experienced Body Technician to join our team.

As a Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle bodies to their original condition. You will use a range of tools and equipment to carry out tasks such as removing dents, welding, sanding, buffing, and painting. Responsibilities: 1.

Assessing and inspecting damaged vehicle bodies to understand the extent of repairs needed. 2. Planning and organizing repair processes, including ordering necessary parts and materials. 3. Removing damaged parts and panels from vehicles, ensuring careful handling and storage. 4.

Repairing damaged body frames and structures through welding, shaping, and straightening. 5. Removing dents, scratches, and imperfections from vehicle bodies using appropriate tools and techniques. 6. Preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking. 7.

Mixing and matching paint colors to ensure a seamless finish. 8. Applying primer, basecoat, and clearcoat to vehicle bodies in accordance with manufacturer specifications. 9. Conducting quality checks and inspections to ensure repairs meet industry standards and customer satisfaction. 10.

Maintaining an organized and clean workspace, following safety protocols at all times. 11. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and repair techniques to enhance skills and knowledge. Requirements: 1.

High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Proven experience as a Body Technician or in a similar role. 3. Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and methods. 4.

Proficiency in using various tools and equipment, including welding and sanding tools. 5. Excellent attention to detail and precision in carrying out repairs. 6. Ability to interpret repair manuals, technical specifications, and diagrams. 7.

Familiarity with paint mixing and matching techniques. 8. Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping. 9. Physical stamina and strength to carry out manual labor, including lifting heavy parts and bending. 10.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. 11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, team members, and supervisors. This is a physically demanding role that requires versatility, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
