BMW of San Antonio is seeking an exceptional Body Shop Technician to join our rapidly growing dealership. You are a self-starter, with deep expertise, who solves problems others can't figure out. You understand the value of procedures, and yet you know when to think outside of the box. You are known for your insights and high integrity, your team relies on you to precisely and accurately repair body damage, in a timely manner. Who your customers are and how this role matters

Your external customers are our clients, prospects and business community members. Your internal customers will be Principle Auto associates, our vendors and contractors. You'll provide value by treating all customers with the highest sense of integrity, honesty and respect. You will work in partnership with the following associates to ensure their success:

• Fixed Operations Director: Our Fixed Operations Director is a hardworking, driven manager who truly cares about the development of the associates he manages. The Fixed Operations Director is responsible for the strategic vision and initiatives of the service department including service managers, advisers, technicians and support staff.

• Body Shop Director: Our Body Shop Director is a bold, upbeat and passionate manager. The Body Shop Director directly oversees the day-to-day operations of the technicians; ensuring the highest level of performance both operationally and culturally.

Your Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED ; 2-3 Years of Body Man Experience (BMW Experience Preferred)

• Possess an operating knowledge of measuring systems

• ICAR certifications preferred

• ASE certification preferred

• Glass replacement experience needed

• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English

• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to work with little to no supervision

• Strong work ethic and sense of urgency

• Capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting strict deadlines

• Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects

• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather

• Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule which includes working Saturdays and some holidays
