Body Exterior Design And Release Engineer

Design and release engineer for Exterior Ornamentation (wipers, fixed glass, wheel lip moldings, spoilers, rocker moldings, badges). The D&R is responsible for the entire component development process from program start through production launch which includes sourcing, design, development, testing and manufacturing. Working with foundation engineering, the D&R will establish system and component functional targets/specifications.

Interface with studio will be required to deliver feasible designs, test/validate exterior systems and components, analyze and resolve engineering issues. D&R engineer will work closely with suppliers to ensure delivery of optimized designs for cost, weight, package and overall product function. Manage and control engineering documents and release designs for global manufacturing.
