Responsibilities include operating any of the below aircraft carrying crews and equipment, flight planning, coordinating with ATC and ground support personnel, and performing light aircraft maintenance. We offer multiple career paths through our three aircraft platforms, including piston and turboprop twins: * Twin engine piston aircraft (Cessna 404 / Cessna 401/Other light twin) * Reims F406 * King Air 300 Qualifications: * FAA Commercial, Multi-Engine Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating * Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED * Valid driver's license and good driving record * Willingness to travel multiple weeks at a time and manage expenses for travel * Must have 1000 total logged hours with 500 multi-engine * Highly Desired: * Candidates with 2,000 total logged flying hours, including 1,000 hours logged as a multi-engine rated pilot * Survey experience, aerial photography, or LiDAR mapping experience. * Turbine aircraft experience * Airline Transport Pilot Certificate * A&P Mechanic and/or Flight Instructor Certificates * BA/BS or MA/MS * Current US Passport * Willingness to comply with medical screening and /or inoculations that might be required for international travel * Willingness to work as a team * Experience in a professional environment requiring communication, writing and computer skills and interaction with external clients and internal teams * A Pilot that embodies flight safety and the willingness to utilize and learn aerial surveying tactics will be an ideal fit. * Willingness to undergo pre-employment verification and drug screening. Essential Functions: * Understand and comply with all State, Federal, CDL, DOT and TSA regulations * Check in with dispatch daily for assigned pickup/delivery route * Operate vehicle to transport materials to and from in a safe and efficient manner * Present self in a clean and professional manner at all times * Pilot identification including but not limited to ID badge and or required Pilot apparel * Perform inspection of the assigned unit and complete all required paperwork * Ensure equipment is kept in proper repair and working order * Clean and secure assigned unit and the end of shift * Complete DOT logs if required * Load and unload freight from truck utilizing the proper equipment and securing for transit when necessary * Check for and notate/communicate damages/shortages or other exceptions * Maintain communication with dispatch, promptly report all delays * Function and use of driver's application for all pickups and deliveries * Verify all freight corresponds to paperwork * Assist and apply additional packing to shipments when needed * Assist in the warehouse if needed * Able to work variable hours, including weekends and overtime * Clocking in/out daily (including lunch breaks) and maintaining lunch/break schedule independently * Other duties assigned deemed necessary by the Cartage Supervisor SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: * Must have clean motor vehicle record * Able to apply basic problem-solving skills * Ability to read and interpret maps * Strong knowledge of the roadways throughout the immediate and surrounding areas * Ability to read and understand tariff signs and signals * Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms and other related documents * Basic PC skills * Good written and verbal skills * Ability to discern numbers and information * Ability to manage deadlines * Able to use various dock equipment sucks as forklifts, pallet jacks and banding/shrink wrap and other materials * Bilingual helpful: Spanish/English Additional Job Details : EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: * High School degree or equivalent * Must be forklift certified * Valid driver's license * Acceptable driving record EXPERIENCE: * Minimum of one-year verifiable driving experience in the industry and in the type of vehicle that will be driven * Must be at least 25 years of age PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
