Salem Media Group - Portland (KPDQ-AM/FM, KFIS, KRYP, KDZR, KPAM) is currently seeking an experienced Board Operator/Producer for 93.9 KPDQ, 104.1 The Fish, 93.1 El Rey, True Talk 800, AM 1640 The Patriot, and AM 860 The Answer. At least two years of experience with on-air announcing, board operation, digital audio editing, and digital radio automation is required.

The successful candidate must be able to multi-task, have a desire to work with Christian teaching and music programming and handle light production duties. Experience with RCS NexGen Automation is preferred, as is experience with digital editing software such as Adobe Audition. A working knowledge of Teaching/Talk and CCM formats is a plus. Must have reliable transportation and be willing to work full-time, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Some of the job responsibilities include: technical production/board operation of live talk programs; recording and editing of talk programs for broadcast and distribution; produce weather reports and (on occasion) short newscasts and traffic reports for our stations; downloading audio files for broadcast, loading program audio into automation for broadcast, checking loaded and auto-loaded audio in automation for accuracy before broadcast; ensure the accurate operation of all six radio stations during shifts, with close attention to traffic and transmitter logs.
