Robert Half is looking for a Board Operations Assistant/Executive Assistant for a non-profit organization in Baltimore, MD. SUMMARY: The Board Operations Assistant is essentially a high-level Executive Assistant that supports the executive office and the Board of Directors with all activities related to travel arrangements, logistics, events, communications, expenses, agendas, schedules, communications, projects, research, presentations, and meetings etc. RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Provide administrative support to the Executive Department, Board of Directors and it?s Committees, serving as the primary point of contact for any Board related activities. ? Develop Board programs and materials for incoming members and ensure all action items are communicated timely. ? Manage the calendar of the CEO and Board to include all scheduling, logistics, planning, and distribution and preparation of meeting agendas, documents and minutes. ? Manage domestic and international travel arrangements, expense reporting, event planning, presentations and correspondence. ? Develop, execute and oversee the budget and all board operations to include managing nominations, the election process and the awards process. ? Assist with special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: ? 5-10 years of Executive Assistant experience ? Experience supporting and working with a Board of Directors and executive staff is required ? Experience making domestic and international travel arrangements is required ? Non-profit or higher education industry experience is a plus ? Must possess a Bachelors Degree ? Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) ? Strong communication (verbal and written) with the ability to conduct and speak at board meetings ?
