Your Responsibilities:

Embark on a fulfilling journey as you step into the BCBA role, with core responsibilities that include: Conducting comprehensive assessments to deeply understand the unique needs of each student. Implementing and fine-tuning innovative data collection systems to support and track progress.

Analyzing data creatively to develop personalized and effective solutions. Collaborating passionately to create and implement behavior support plans, driving positive outcomes. Flexibly working within the student environment, including those "after hours" moments and occasional weekend commitments.

Playing a critical role in crisis management and providing in-classroom support when needed. Fostering holistic student development by closely collaborating with our Clinical, Education, and Campus Life teams to align with ITEP goals. Maintaining open communication with care providers, students, and families to respond effectively to progress and emergencies.

Ensuring thorough record-keeping and reporting. Actively participating in professional development to stay at the forefront of the field. Contributing to the diverse range of programs, events, and services that make Shrub Oak unique.

Staying up-to-date with the latest clinical matters, ensuring we maintain best-in-class knowledge. Sharing your expertise through community and professional education initiatives related to clinical matters, life skills, and independence. Adapting flexibly to the dynamic environment and making sound decisions under pressure.
