Job Overview
The Blow Molding Engineer is responsible for providing leadership and technical expertise for the Blow Molding technology at the designated local site. This position is also responsible for assisting corporate engineering in the planning, development, and execution of Blow Molding projects from the conceptual phase to commissioning. The Blow Mold Engineer serves as an immediate source of technical information relating to equipment owned or considered for lease, purchase by the company, and provides guidance on the technical aspects of processes employed, or considered for employment, by the company.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develops and executes individual, plant specific projects in support of the blow mold technology based upon new product introduction and maintenance of existing products
Evaluates and prioritizes diverse projects for execution, by conducting a thorough analysis of projects and developing and implementing measurement criteria for quantitative evaluation and comparison of competing courses of action
Determines and directs proper maintenance of the purchased or leased equipment by providing OJT for operators and maintenance for the Blow Molding equipment and participating in the Coca-Cola Company's Blow Molding SME network to gather best practices and other learning
Drafts Capital Expenditures (CAPX) Requests, prepares associated justification documents, executes approved projects following the published schedule and budget by researching, evaluating, and determining equipment system requirements through a clear understanding of company objectives and long-term manufacturing strategy and assessing and analyzing commercial equipment capabilities to determine the feasibility of incorporating equipment into current and future operations
Serves as a technical consultant and coordinator for operations conducted with external organizations and industry partnerships
Critiques, analyzes, and interprets technical documents, drawings, manuals, and other reference material and leads the development and implementation of process improvement opportunities that have a positive company-wide impact
Manages, leads, and motivates a team to deliver results by communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines; engaging and developing teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training
Implement continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus, and embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Experience in Blow Molding and maintenance will be valuable for this position
This position will be the SME at the plant level for Blow Molding

Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree or up to 3 years of college or technical school
