Blending Tech

Join the team at a world-class specialty beverage co-packer in Mooresville, NC, as a blending technician. You will work alongside other team members to safely & efficiently batch products according to written procedures and customer formulas to produce quality popular beverage products for the consumer.

Temp-to-Hire

Shift: 2nd shift - 6:45 PM - 6:45 AM

Rotating Schedule

Pay rate: $16.00/hr

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Basic knowledge of weight and measures

• Basic math skills

• Must report to work on time and have good attendance

• Flexibility to assist where needed

• Must be able to stand for long periods

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 55 lbs frequently

• Ability to read, write, and speak English

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Mix formulas according to written procedures

• Follow directions of blending leadership about the batching schedule, housekeeping items, and additional duties/tasks

• Weigh the "partial ingredients" label appropriately, and reseal with tamper evident tape

• Clean and sanitize various pieces of equipment

• Before beginning each batch, verify ingredients for correct quantities, item numbers, expiration dates, quality, etc.

• Complete required documentation, including but not limited to, Batch Sheets, Blending Instructions, Master Sanitation Schedule, Trailer Transfer sheets

• Maintain traceability and inventory integrity by allocating the ingredients used in each batch using Data Collection programs

• Forklift experience is a plus

• Complete tasks listed on the Master Sanitation Schedule at least at the minimum required frequencies

• Interact with auditors, customers, and government officials in a professional and polite manner

• Knowledge of and adherence to Good Manufacturing Processes

• Properly dispose of ingredient packaging materials

• Break down and re-build ingredient kits to accommodate last-minute changes

• Participate in the batch approval process, assist in root cause analysis of out-of-spec batches

• Other duties may be assigned
