We are looking for a BlackLine Manager for our rapidly growing national BlackLine practice. This dynamic team is a part of our overall Finance Transformation solution focused on "modernizing the office of the CFO." This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking for an entrepreneurial opportunity within the security of a well-established firm. This position will be directly involved with relationship management and onsite client projects.

As our BlackLine Manager, you will be able to draw from your experience and knowledge to help clients improve their business by providing services such as BlackLine Implementations, Process Improvement, Financial Transformation, Procedure Design and Optimization, etc. This practice line is exciting, growing and offers tremendous career opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consulting with accounting, financial, operational and other management personnel to improve their businesses.

  • Lead BlackLine implementation projects, assess, troubleshoot/test during the implementation cycle.

  • Train and advise clients in the leading use of BlackLine products to fit their specific needs.

  • Train and mentor staff/project team.

  • All engagements require process analysis/optimization, documentation, project management skills and the ability to work in collaborative teams.

  • Participate in the sales process.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting, operations and/or performance improvement consulting

  • Experience implementing BlackLine

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Consulting or Professional Services firm experience is preferred with previous pre-sales/sales experience

  • Understanding and demonstrated experience with working with multiple clients

  • Corporate or industry accounting experience is preferred

  • Previous experience with operational process reviews and basic internal control requirements

  • Ability to anticipate and address client concerns and issues

  • Strong accounting skills and knowledge

  • Ability to break complex issues into project steps and problem solve

  • Ability to facilitate clients, and project teams, at all levels of the organization

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong data assimilation and organization skills

  • Strong self-direction and team working skills

  • Travel expectations 50% or greater

GENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for profitable business development as well as monitoring the quality of an extensive existing portfolio of companies with annual gross sales of at least $10 million with more emphasis on customers with higher revenues ( least $20 million). Ability to lead and coordinate with One Bank Partners to create and implement a relationship strategy for assigned clients and prospects. This position requires a strong understanding of credit, commercial products and financial statement analysis, in order to offer beneficial banking solutions (e.g. loans, treasury management, capital markets) based on clients and prospects needs. The incumbent will have extensive knowledge and experience working with high revenue, more complex relationships. This role is expected to solicit participation in public debt issuance for clients. This role is expected to activity participate in community activities. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Work independently to identify and develop profitable new "lead left" client relationships by leveraging centers of influence, existing clients, & referral sources. * Develop and implement a business plan to achieve financial goals and qualitative measures. * Work closely with Fifth Third internal partners to deepen existing relationships and acquire new prospective relationships. * Attend community and/or specific industry forums, conferences and/or meetings in order to broaden relationship networks, referral sources and continually deepen knowledge of trends, practices, services and the competitive landscape. * Work with product partners (Treasury Mgmt., Capital Markets, and Wealth Mgmt etc.) analyze, evaluate and develop a tailored relationship strategy for each client or prospect. Ensure that customer relationships are managed to maximize the opportunity for the bank, while taking into account Bank risk and customer needs. * Meet with customers on a regular basis to enhance the trusted advisor relationship and ensure business needs are being met. * Utilize consultative sells skills, commercial playbook principals and call reporting plans to enhance the client experience. * Utilize the Bank's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for client activity tracking, call reports and pipeline management. * Analyze financial information provided to determine the credit request that should be pursued. * Monitor, on an ongoing basis, information concerning customer financial performance, condition, and industry trends to determine that any credit exposure is at an acceptable risk, and priced accordingly. * Partner with Portfolio Managers and Credit Officers on credit requests and adhere to established Portfolio Management guidelines (i.e., delinquencies, documentation preparation, financial statement tracking exceptions, matured loans). SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No formal supervisory responsibilities.
