HIRING FULL AND PART TIME POSITIONS

Winter Season 2022 - 2023

Looking for a responsible, motivated, organized and team oriented individual to work in the Black Tie Ski Rentals Office, answering phones, taking reservations, handling daily/monthly billing, and most importantly enjoy a friendly and fun work environment!

Job Experience Preferred (but not required):

-Office experience preferred but not mandatory.

-You will be working in an environment where efficiency and attention to detail is important.

-Customer service is priority.

-Answering phones and taking reservations.

-Effective and appropriate communication skills with customers are critical.

-Computer experience is preferred.

-Microsoft Word

-Excel

-Microsoft Office (e-mail)

-Learn our Custom Reservation System, DSR

-Taking pertinent information for reservations, by phone or e-mail.

-Billing - charging/refunding credit cards.

-Data entry and compilation

-Handle Tour Operator monthly billing.

-Keep daily operations and reservation paperwork organized.

-Greet walk in rental traffic in front office.

-General shop and office organization and cleanliness.

Hours:

General Schedule: Two Full Day Shift from 7:30am to 5:30pm, three evening shift 3:30pm to 10:00pm and TWO FULL DAYS OFF. There is PLENTY OF SKI TIME included with this position!

The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience repairing skis and snowboards. Enthusiasm and knowledge about outdoor gear is essential! Repair Techs are excited to share a piece of Big Sky with visitors from other areas of the state, out of state, and out of country.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Will be required to gain strong knowledge of Big Sky Resort property and the surrounding area. Must be able to answer questions about activities and sights in the area and make sales suggestions based on guests' wants and needs</p></li><li><p>Manage and control inventory by stocking and organizing. Cleaning and organizing daily to keep sales area in prime appearance</p></li><li><p>Must be able to work independently and multi-task, greeting all guests promptly entering the store and host a warmly atmosphere</p></li><li><p>Utilize the tools and training provided by Big Sky Resort to develop selling and service skills, resulting in long-term customer relationships and increased sales</p></li><li><p>Give accurate and current information about the merchandise for all brands we carry, if the correct information is not at hand; ask manager or supervisor for help</p></li><li><p>Maintain the Boyne Rewards signup and loyalty program in all locations</p></li><li><p>Handle product returns in a way that is professional and customer focused</p></li><li><p>Maintain a positive and cheerful attitude at all times</p></li><li><p>Apply the above standards to all phone calls and questions</p></li></ul><p>Operations:</p><ul><li><p>Report to work on time or notify in advance if absent or late</p></li><li><p>Cash register operations; employees are expected to use the register without error and to be consistently accurate in money handling</p></li><li><p>Understand and use system reports including inventory lookup, Boyne Reward signups and daily sales goals</p></li><li><p>Practice security measures that help prevent theft; understand the procedures for handling shoplifters</p></li><li><p>Always practicing safety awareness at all times</p></li></ul><p>Training and Employee Growth:</p><ul><li><p>Participate in all required Big Sky Resort Retail employee training</p></li><li><p>Participate in the training of fellow employees, including new hire training and ongoing product service training</p></li><li><p>Be proactive in your ongoing education regarding the company, weekly reports, products, and the outdoor retail business</p></li><li><p>Take advantage of additional in-store and outside training opportunities that are offered</p></li><li><p>Retail Stores are open 7 days per week.
