POSITION SUMMARY The Birthing Center at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital (BMH) is seeking an#experienced Labor # Delivery RN to join our amazing team of dedicated professionals. The BMH team of providers, midwives, nurses and support staff believe in providing empowering care to all of our patients. As a Birthing Center RN you will be responsible for assessing the health status of individuals and groups, establishing nursing diagnoses, identifying and planning goals to meet health care needs, prescribing nursing interventions, implementing the plan of care and evaluating and documenting responses to interventions. QUALIFICATION EDUCATION: Graduate of RN accredited program. EXPERIENCE/SKILL SETS: Preferred: Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg experience. Experience with C-Sections, epidurals, electronic charting, venipuncture proficiency and a minimum of two years experience in an LDRP unit with a delivery rate of 400 a year. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION(S): Registered Nurse currently licensed by the State of Vermont. Current BLS Healthcare Provider status.

Post Hire Requirements:

NRP provider status BC Epidural/ C-section recovery program BMH IV certification or demonstrated proficiency S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification Advanced Fetal Monitoring course
