Biotech Sales Representative

Position Overview

Ashfield Healthcare has partnered with a worldwide leading biotech company to offer support for brands and a growing portfolio of products. This is your opportunity to join Ashfield! We are looking for talented, results oriented and successful field sales representatives to join our team and make an impact.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, maintain and develop strong relationships with HCPs by enthusiastically and creatively teaching and informing on the use of the product/s and support services offered

  • Strategically position portfolio products in highly competitive space with a complex disease state

  • Expertly manage and promote full suite of services for products supported

  • Targeted customers include physicians, Nurses, NP, PA, MA, etc.

  • Meet and exceed activity and sales targets to drive commercial success

  • Track activity and complete administrative items daily

  • Proven ability to build meaningful, lasting and trusted relationships with key decision makers with a focus on patient centricity

  • Work collaboratively with an existing field team toward the mutual goal of success

Skills/Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2 years' Business to Business sales experience required

  • Pharmaceutical Sales required

  • Specialty experience is preferred, clinical acumen required

  • MS experience preferred, Neurology experience required

  • Understanding of specialty pharmacy services

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

  • Strong work ethic, high degree of enthusiasm and collaborative spirit

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability/willingness to travel required

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Position Overview: As a pharmaceutical Sales Representative, you will have the opportunity to regularly call on health care professionals (primary care physicians, clinics, hospitals and pharmacies) within a specific geographic area. Day-to-day responsibilities consist of supporting the promotional efforts behind Allergan products, which includes organizing, tracking and distributing FDA regulated sample products to health care professionals. You will maintain a current and competent level of knowledge on the product line to be a reliable source of information to the health care professionals in the territory. Education and Experience: Education * Bachelors Degree is required.
