PPD's Project Management department is a global team organized by therapeutic area. We partner directly with our clients to deliver projects from study start-up through close-out activities. In Project Management, you will oversee the delivery of PPD groups collaborating to support our clients. In short, you are a crucial piece in earning the trust of our clients.
As a Biotech Portfolio Lead, you will provide strategic direction across all therapeutic areas and other divisions across PPD to ensure a customized biotech delivery model that is most effective for portfolio clients. This position provides consultation, direction, and leadership to functional leads and employees to ensure operational excellence.
Partners globally with other group to develop new business and to deliver existing business
Partners with cross functional leadership on the continuous development and improvement of business processes to support teams and to ensure that work is uniform, complete, and managed appropriately
Collaborates with the Biotech leadership team and other senior, therapeutic area, geography and functional lead colleagues to enable oversight of operational performance, resourcing, financial health/strategy, and business planning and execution
Assists in business development activities, representing PPD biotech at bid defenses, ensuring realization of the PPD biotech vision

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/ vocational qualification
Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 15 years)
