Duties: Data processing and analysis of signals from physiological sensors including EEG, fNIRS, and skin conductance. Matlab/Simulink modeling, embedded hardware and firmware development. C programming with application to intelligent and AI controls for noninvasive brain systems.


US Citizenship required for US Government contract work.

Student pursuing BS, MS, or PhD in Biomedical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering and having successfully taken some courses with a background in EEG and fNIRS sensors, signal processing, Simulink and Matlab simulation tools, noninvasive stimulation systems, and DSP based systems preferred.

Full time for the Summer, but preferably student will continue working part-time while continuing classes throughout the Fall/Winter.

VIEW JOBS 11/29/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-27T00:00 Description In this role as a DevOps Engineer, you will contribute to our Online Banking and Mobile Platforms by ensuring that common architecture decisions are implemented consistently across multiple platforms and environments. You will act as liaison between development teams and the Middleware Delivery team, and will participate in Agile project work as an SME representing Middleware standards. You will also analyze, design, propose, and help deliver deployment automation solutions that are appropriate for Online and Mobile banking. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Participation in Agile meetings and timely delivery of project-related artifacts. * Deployment and configuration of complex applications throughout the project lifecycle. Project delivery work may include delivery of AWS solutions, J2E platform software, deployment of software artifacts, web server setup and configuration, coordination of network and database connectivity. * Integration of internally developed components (API's, web services, broker services, MQ and Data Power artifacts). Additional work may require remediation of vulnerability scan issues, close coordination with project testing teams for performance analysis, creation of documentation, and knowledge transfer to support staff. * Work with Online Banking and Mobile development teams to deliver cloud-hosted solutions that meet existing standards and satisfy existing and future business needs. * Work on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Candidate should exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Qualifications * Demonstrated experience with cloud-hosted solutions, preferably AWS. This should include administration, architecture, and security of web services. Candidate should have an understanding of APIs, methods of automated deployment, and API management in a corporate setting. * Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server (or comparable platforms), IBM APIC, IBM Data Power. * Knowledge of IBM Integration Broker (IIB) and MQ is a strong plus, as is understanding of JIRA, Nexus, Subversion, Rapid Deploy and shell scripting. * Solid understanding of problem resolution, application monitoring and troubleshooting, including basic knowledge of network principles. * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Skills/Experience: * Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Technology (IT); or IT minor or other engineering degree with minimum 7 years industry experience. * Experience in the Financial Services Industry.
