Hours: 40hrs
Shift: Day Shift, 8:00am
Location: St. Luke's Hospital

Responsibilities
Under direction of the Manager, Clinical Engineering & Technology or Designee, the BMET/ISE Hybrid individual will be responsible to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of highly complex biomedical and medical imaging equipment. The individual should be competent in the use of all applicable test equipment and tools required in the performance of duties. The BMET/ISE Hybrid ensures regulatory compliance, assists in inventory management, and serves as an advisor to administrative, medical, and clinical staff in the safe use and proper operation of clinical equipment. The individual demonstrates adherence to the core values in all professional interactions by showing respect to all people, creating real value, initiating meaningful change, and exhibiting integrity.
Qualifications
Associates degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent military experience or two years of equivalent experience biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment.
Bachelors Degree in engineering technology preferred.
Technical Certification preferred. Complex computer skills required, including the ability to administrate a system, interpret error codes, defragment hard drives, replace power supplies, interpret computer codes, and apply networking concepts.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel and networking applications required.
Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources.
Valid drivers license required; variable travel requirements depending on primary site that may require use of personal vehicle.
CBET (Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician) preferred.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
Pay Range
USD $27.13 - USD $45.60 /Hr.
Rotation Schedule Requirement
Rotating schedule on call weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
