Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Biomedical Equipment Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will report to the hospital and receive supervision from the manager/lead tech on staff. The core responsibilities include scheduled and corrective maintenance, safety testing on various medical equipment, and ordering special equipment or parts as needed to complete the maintenance. The technician will also assist with creating new procedures as necessary, but the majority of the role will focus on repairs and maintenance of the equipment.

Must Haves

• Associates Degree in Biomedical Electronics Technology or Associates Degree in Electronic Technology

• Experience performing corrective maintenance and safety testing of medical equipment

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 13 Weeks with opportunity for extension.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Jackson, Michigan.

Work Environment

This is an on-site role with a Monday to Friday, 40-hour work week schedule. The start time could be as early as 6 AM.
