We have summer internship opportunities available across the U.S; including Minnesota, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Arizona, Massachusetts and Florida. Our internships are full-time (40 hours/week), paid positions that are 11-12 weeks in length. We offer housing assistance (for out of state interns), relocation expense reimbursement, and educational and social events throughout the summer.

A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
This is a temporary position.
Responsible for performing and supporting research for teams operating within a service group, or product group and/ or project group.
Assists with the development, monitoring, coordination and implementation of technical projects as assigned.
Provides analysis, reporting and internal communication services with team members.
Develops knowledge of industry and organizational processes.
Bringing together your interests in medicine and engineering, you will perform, and support research related to the design of pacemakers, the development of cardiac pacing therapies, and the treatment of neurological disorders/dysfunctions. In addition to collecting and analyzing physiologic signals, you will construct and design the hardware and software tools necessary to perform experimental protocols. Responsibilities include: design hardware and software tools that allow the human body's complex signals to be collected and analyzed. Through use of other tools such as Labview, collect and analyze such data; conduct clinical research with patients to determine which features to offer in a particular product or how to improve it for patients and physicians. After analyzing the data collected, evaluate fundamental signal characteristics and test various pacemaker features. Write protocols for collecting clinical data.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Undergraduate student with a sophomore or juniorlevel in standing
Working towards a bachelor's degree in biomedicalengineering or bioengineering or related engineering major
A minimum 3.0 out of a 4.0 cumulative GPA
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis and doesnot require sponsorship in the future for an employment visa
Able to participate full time (40 hours/week), in 1 of our 2 cohorts:
Cohort 1: Tuesday,May 28 - Friday, August 16
Cohort 2: Monday, June 17 - Friday, August 30
