Relationships: Whowill I work with?

Asa Field Service Specialist-III, you will join our in-house Clinical Engineeringteam comprised of multiple levels of Biomeds and Field Service Technicians, ledby a nation-wide network of Managers, Directors, and VP's. You will also partner with some of ournation's top clinical talent at the local hospital to ensure the best patientcare. And, let's not forget the mostimportant relationship of allour patients.

Impact: Why does thisrole matter?

Thisrole matters because you will have a direct impact on patient care and satisfactionby ensuring all high-tech imaging equipment (Cath Lab, MRI, Advanced CTScanners, and PET units) and biomedical equipment is functioning perfectly.Providing repair and maintenance primarily on imaging equipment, and generalbiomed equipment secondarily, in our hospitals keeps the equipment functioningoptimally so that our clinical and direct patient care teams can provide thebest patient care possible.

Functioningas a Level III also requires you to have the ability to:

  • Utilize training opportunities to significantly reduce contract dependency.

  • Be a leader in the Clinical Engineering department, providing oversight and assistance to other FSS's.

  • Handle all serviceemergencies and necessary communications with Vendor, Department, and ClinicalEngineering Manager.

  • Provide coverageand support for the Account Manger during manager's absence.

  • Assist in theordering of parts and supplies necessary for the servicing of diagnosticimaging and biomedical equipment.

  • Provide input tothe Account Manager regarding new service opportunities within a locationserviced by the Clinical Engineering Division.

  • Provideappropriate service cost history to the Account Manager with an emphasis onContract v.s. Time and Material contrasts for the continual reduction ofService expense.

  • Provide assistancewith life cycle analysis, planning of installation, site preparations for newor relocated equipment.

  • Read blueprintsand effectively communicate to architects, engineers and project managers

Youcan make the biggest impact by meeting these requirements

  • Associate's Degree in a related field required

  • CRES strongly preferred

  • Eight years of related experience servicing medicalimaging equipment

  • Reliable transportation required

Stabil Drill is currently seeking a Full-Time Welder/Tool Repair Technician to join our team in Houston, TX. Summary: The Welder performs welding duties including cutting, fitting and welding various types of materials. Including hardfacing, brazing, and spray powder application of TCI. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Responsible for manufacturing and repair functions in the welding shop. * Fabricate downhole drilling equipment, including eccentric reamers. * Experience in applying various hardfacings used on Stabilizers * Work with management to estimate time frame on welding jobs. * Maintain a clean and safe working environment. * Ensure awareness of, and compliance with, relevant company/customer QHSE requirements. * Perform other duties as required by Supervisor. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education/Experience: * High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) preferred. * 1 year of experience in hardfacing, brazing, and spray powder application of TCI. * Basic knowledge of Tig and Mig welding would be advantageous. * Equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
