Job Summary:

Under the direction of a team of Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Specialists and biomechanical engineering scientists, primary responsibilities include assistance with robotic knee studies including testing coordination, specimen preparation, hands on testing and data analysis.

Minimum Education:

4 yr Bachelors Degree

  • Biomechanical or Biomedical Engineering

Minimum Experience / Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years professional biomechanical engineering research

  • Excellent communication skills; understanding of biology/physiology laboratory measurements; measurements of mechanical properties; spreadsheet analysis of data.


Full-Time, Day shift


This person will spend time at the Robotics Lab in Kenwood, as well as the Sports Medicine office in Montgomery.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES * Coordination Schedule and coordinate conferences, meetings, interviews, and appointments. Independently resolve scheduling conflicts anticipating scheduling problems. Coordinate conference calls, teleconferences, and video conferencing. Perform advanced library searches utilizing electronic resources. Act as liaison for coordination of physical moves. Work with outside vendors. Collects and electronically submits payroll information for department. Acts as a liaison with payroll. Compiles information and performs data entry for departmental budget information/expense tracking. Assists with completion of HR forms. Assists with account reconciliation. Validates accuracy of information submitted and resolves discrepancies. Acts as a liaison with Human Resources Management Services to facilitate personnel processes.
