This position requires a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Biology issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Preference will be given to educators who hold additional credentials in Science (Chemistry and Physics specifically). We accept out of state applicants looking to relocate to the San Fernando Valley if applicants have started the research and compilation of required documents for the process of converting their professional-level credential from another state.

Applications from Intern Eligible applicants are accepted but must be accompanied by a letter from the applicant's university on official letterhead indicating that the candidate is in fact intern eligible, with an anticipated effective date for when the applicant will be recommended to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing by the university for the Single Subject Intern Credential. Applications from applicants who are currently in a credentialing program and are intended to graduate and receive their teaching credential upon graduation in the immediate future are accepted but must be accompanied by a letter from the applicant's university on official letterhead indicating that the candidate is in fact on board to graduate from the credentialing program, with an anticipated effective date for when the applicant will be recommended to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing by the university for the Single Subject Teaching Credential in Biology.
