Biological Sciences

Community College of Beaver County is seeking an energetic biology faculty member. Reporting to the Dean of the School of Professions and Transfer Studies, the successful candidate will create engaging learning environments for students; demonstrate knowledge, skill, and ability within the broad field of biology; and embrace a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. The position will play an integral role in the college's biology programs, including its Health High School Academy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Biology or a related field required. A Ph.D. in Biology or a related field is preferred.

• Post-secondary teaching experience at a community college.

• Commitment and contribution to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and interest in fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment based on integrity, trust, and respect.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse professional community and student population.

• Ability to communicate and articulate concepts in an organized manner both verbally and in writing. Ability to work well as a team member in an instructional unit.
