Coordinates design with other disciplines and coordinates work sharing within the team.
Ensures output is professional, consistent with prevailing standards and satisfies project requirements.
Interfaces with other departments, clients, vendors, and project engineers in order to support project production.
Provides training, guidance, and mentorship to staff.
Participates in interviewing other positions on this ladder and makes hiring recommendations.
Performs quality control on deliverables and incorporates Continuous Improvement into work processes.
Develops and implements new processes as required to ensure consistent quality.
May lead BIM/CAD activities on projects.
May manage BIM/CAD Library for discipline.
May manage BIM/CAD staff.

Qualifications
Experience: 12 years with a broad base in engineering design and technical support of engineering. Advanced expertise in computer operation and in CAD software. Proven ability to learn, adapt, and problem-solve to produce accurate and quality deliverables. Ability to work with all levels of personnel.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in CAD preferred.
