SUMMARY

The Database Manager for our growing Advanced Technologies division will be instrumental in custom database content creation, ensuring naming consistency, and dimensional accuracy in the division’s Autodesk Fabrication and Revit database for both material and components. Responsible for assisting/identifying time-saving workflows, routines, and/or programming opportunities in Autodesk Fabrication (CADMep), Revit (With Autodesk fabrication ITMs), MSuite, etc. This position will report directly to the Advanced Technologies Division CAD Manager with coordination among regional Detailing Managers and existing. The successful candidate for this position will have a strong ability to create custom programs with written code to enhance the workflows for modeling, detailing, and executing semiconductor and pharmaceutical construction projects. 

Location: Chandler, AZ; Rancho Dominguez, CA; San Diego, CA; or San Leandro, CA       

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and create the material database in a highly organized manner and update it as required by projects and/or direct management
  • Populate and maintain job-specific profiles
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in workflows, and create respective routines, programming, custom code, etc.
  • Create and/or update coding for Revit and AutoCAD for improved effectiveness and efficiencies
  • Manage competing priorities with various project database needs
  • Support Detailing team (Revit & AutoCAD) with program issues as required
  • Short Travel durations may be required

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in computer programming/coding for AutoCAD and Revit or similar types of programs
  • 3 years of experience working with cloud-based synchronization software
  • Ability to read, understand, and decipher construction submittals (e.g., dimensional data sheets)
  • Experience with and understanding of materials of construction related to semiconductor and biopharmaceutical industries
  • Experience with customizing PCF files for import into an auto-isometric drawing engine

Preferred

  • 10+ years’ experience in Revit/Auto CAD database management
  • Ability to work within matrix reporting relationships

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less across multiple computer screens for extended periods

Pay: $57.69 - $62.50 per hour
