Job Summary

This position supervises day to day operations of the Billing department including client billing, client posting, coordination with the outside billing agency. This position has primary responsibility for the timely entering of client charges, split bill charges, client posting, and Client Accounts Receivable.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Leads and oversees the day-to-day activities of subordinates including, but not limited to, monitoring daily production, time and attendance and appropriate coverage.

  • Organizes and structures work assignments for Billing staff according to workflow needs.

  • Prepares monthly spreadsheets for project tracking and departmental reports.

  • Collaborate with Account Management team on open Client Aged Accounts Receivables.

  • Implements and ensures compliance with revenue management policies, procedures and best practices.

  • Accomplishes billing departmental objectives by measuring billing results against plans and evaluating and improving methods.

  • Provides subject matter expertise in response to day-to-day business issues related client bill.

  • Prepare month end invoice and reporting.

  • Develop and interpret policies and procedures, recommend changes as appropriate, and provide relevant feedback to the management team in order to meet department and organizational goals.

  • Participates in hiring, coaching, development, discipline and termination of staff as necessary.

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities including professional publications review and ongoing training and development.

  • Accomplishes department and organization business objectives by completing related activities as needed.

  • Participate in other related projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of five years' experience in Revenue Cycle Management

  • Basic understanding of CMS guidelines, including 14-day rule.

  • Ability to direct others as well as take direction from others.

  • Resolve issues of conflict in a tactful and professional manner

  • Superior communication and customer service skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and decision-making skills

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
