Job Description:

SUMMARY

The Billing Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of billing specialists, providing feedback, guidance and training that support their growth and development. This individual will assist with the day-to-day operations of the billing department, work with business partners to address issues and concerns, and assisting the account manager where needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a staff of billing specialists, ensuring accurate work product, handling administrative management tasks, and providing improvement and feedback to staff.

  • Ensure timely and correct billing

  • Assist in monthly pre-billing responsibilities

  • Provide customer support for disputes or inquiries regarding invoices to both internal and external customers

  • Draft and distributes weekly/monthly reports of invoicing and billing metrics

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong knowledge of billing processes and procedures.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Good time management skills.

  • Work well in a team environment.

  • Positive attitude and strong customer focus.

  • Proficiency in Excel is required.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to maintain confidential information.

  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

  • Legal billing and Aderant experience required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from two-year college at a minimum, or equivalent combination of education and experience. College degree is preferred.
