Job Summary
Coordinates the Prevailing wage compliance and Utility billings processes. Provides administrative support to the Facilities Services operations. Maintains responsibility for all state prevailing wage records pertaining to EDGE (Encouraging Diversity, Growth and Equity) Program compliance procedures for government contracts, including tracking the spend for EDGE vendors. Works with and assists the Director, Facilities Administration & Fiscal Operations in maintaining controls, detailed project records ensuring compliance with established EDGE and CSU policies and procedures. Processes requisitions and invoices. Tracks all documents needed for compliance. Coordinates the student schedules and assignments. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree, preferably in Business, Administration or related.
Two (2) years of experience entering and verifying accounting payroll records and/or billing records.
Two (2) years of experience utilizing Excel, preferably formula and computational use.
Related work experience may be substituted for education requirement. One (1) year of related work experience can be substituted for one (1) year of education. For example, a candidate with a high school diploma, GED or state recognized equivalent and four (4) years of related work experience can be eligible to apply.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Administration or related field.
Experience with payroll or wage compliance.
Experience with State or Federal compliance programs such as Davis-Bacon, prevailing wage or similar wage statutory requirements.
Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning systems such as State OAKS Financial System, Procurement Systems, PeopleSoft Financials, and or Dude solutions CMMS work order system.
