The Billing Coordinator will be responsible for performing basic accounting processes that are in compliance of proper accounting procedures and policies while meeting deadlines. Our client is a multinational, Fortune 500 corporation located in Northwest Houston.
Issuance of billing credit memos against RGAs (Returned Goods Authorization) and NMRA (Non-Material Return Authorizations)
Issuance of other debit/credit adjustments as needed and approved
Issuance of Sales Tax credit and re-bills
Prepare reports for distribution to Operations
Accurate and timely processing of customer invoices (backup)
Reviews and organizes documentation of packing slips and shipping airway bills
Researches and resolves billing/adjustment errors timely as required
Ensures successful interfaces of B2B transactions and manual entry into customer's web portals (i.e. Transocean, Ensco, Nabors etc.) as applicable
Works closely with the Customer Service Representatives and Credit Analysts in identifying transmission issues and/or rejections and discrepancies in a timely manner
Assists with miscellaneous projects, monthly and/or yearly close tasks
Adheres to the criteria set by the Company and/or Senior Management
Compliance with all personnel and HSE policies and procedures
All other duties and special projects as assigned
Proficient data entry skills
Detailed-oriented, self-motivated and able to work in a deadline driven environment
Work cooperatively with staff, clients and representatives of other companies; conduct all business in a courteous, professional manner.
Must be willing to submit a background check and possibly a drug screen.
Must have access to reliable transportation
If applicable, must have valid driver's license or valid photo ID
Must be available to work during company business hours.
