Primary responsibility is to coordinate billing services.Contact person for physician billing services. Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment as well as multitask.

Contact person for physician's billingservices in handling payments. Physician Practice and Home Health Primaryresponsibility is to coordinate billing services and provide diagnostic andprocedural codes to individual patient health information for data retrieval,analysis and claims processing. Responsible for entering patient encounters tothe practice management billing application.

High School Diploma, Certificate ofAttendance, Certificate of Completion, GED or equivalent training or experiencerequired. Associate/Bachelor's degree preferred.

Knowledge of MedicalTerminology, Knowledge of Microsoft Systems Word, Excel, Power Point and Accessa must. Must be detail-oriented team player with excellent written andcommunication skills. Background in coding, experience in other related areassuch as collections, refunds, review and adjudication of claims andunderstanding of Charge Review responsibilities preferred.

Experience inMedical Record review for medical necessity and bill auditing required.Proficient in English and Spanish. Able to foster/maintain a strongprofessional relation with physicians, hospital leaders, staff and patients.

Minimum Experience Required: 3 Years

VIEW JOBS 11/1/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-01-30T00:00 The Physician Assistant (PA) is employed by BHSF or its entities to provide direct patient care in collaboration with specific physicians. The PA is an expert in patient care, who can provide a high standard of care to all patients, following an established protocol with a physician(s). This includes but is not limited to medical diagnosis, treatment, prescription, teaching, assist in surgery and mentoring new member of the health care team. The PA will perform patient assessments to include medical history/physical exams and in collaboration with the physician, develop an appropriate plan of care for the direct management of patients with acute and chronic illnesses. The PA will also administer prescriptions and write orders to include but not limited to narcotics, diagnostic studies, and any other orders deemed necessary per the agreement with their supervising physician(s) and protocols. The PA works directly with staff, administration, patients and families to ensure quality care across the continuum as an expert in selected practice areas. The PA integrates current knowledge of professional issues, trends in health care and technological advances into scope of practice. The PA participates in the collection of research data, quality improvement, discharge planning and coordination of patient care.FL PA license required. Must be a graduate of a Physician Assistant Training Program accredited by the Accreditation Review commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) or its predecessors, and acceptable to the Surgeon General, USAF is mandatory. Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Committee on Certification Physician assistants (NCCPA) is required. Associate Degree Required. Bachelors Degree Preferred New Grads will be considered. Must have experience in the operating room. This position requires helping the Physician in the Operating Room.
