Responsibilities As a Billing and Collections Specialist, you will complete our award-winning, paid training to learn the skills required to be a successful member of our administrative team.

You will use teamwork along with self-management to build relationships with our customers through a customer-focused lens and be a key point of contact for both current and potential customers.

Are you ready to take your CAREER to the next level? You will… Handle special billing and collection calls, assisting with accounts payable/receivable processes.

Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries related to invoicing, purchase orders, payment portals, and other billing-related matters.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and account information. Collaborate with team members to resolve customer issues and ensure timely payment processing.

Perform outbound calls to customers to follow up on services received and regarding outstanding customer account balances.

Other duties may include... Utilizing strong listening skills and probing questions to identify customer concerns and evaluate their needs. Communicate empathetically with customers, building trust and handling objections within a conversational call flow.

Close pest control sales via telephone and schedule the initial service.

Qualifications As a Billing and Collections Specialist at Connecticut Pest Elimination, you must possess the following skills/requirements: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to empathize with customers and maintain professionalism in challenging situations.

Previous experience in billing, collections, customer service, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in navigating payment portals and using billing software is a plus.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in a related field is a bonus.

Must be 18 years or older to apply Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel At least 2 years of proven customer service experience What will my work environment be like? Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:

Must be comfortable sitting at a desk and working with a computer, keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods of time.
