Billing Cash Specialist (64316)

Essential Functions

• Perform a variety of tasks related to the timely and accurate posting of refunds, payments, adjustments, and denial transactions into the computerized billing system

• Download images from appropriate bank accounts

• Daily reconciliation of cash and refund logs

• Download EOB's from designated websites

• EFT/ERA enrollment

• Payer website and clearinghouse management

• Research recoupments, missing payments and unapplied funds

• Reconcile payments and refunds for month end close

• All other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or management

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma

• Minimum two years' experience in a Medical Billing payment reconciliation

• General knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word
